Wed June 5 - 23:00 (St. Andrews)

We had another early wake up and took a bus from Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow to Dundee. On our way over, we passed the Sterling Castle and the Walace Monument from afar. Also, we drove past Perth and got to see part of the town as we drove by.  From Dundee, we got a local bus to St. Andrews, which was at most 30 minutes away. We checked into our guest house and then ate lunch at Mitchell's. Afterwards, we saw St. Andrew's Cathedral and Castle.

Then we walked down the road along the beach to the British Golf Museum and learned a great amount about how the game developed into what it is today.

It was right next to the Old Course's 18th hole so we got to watch some people play it.

The 18th hole and the 1st tee were right next to the famous beach from the movie "Chariots of Fire."

The entire area by the water was so beautiful. We went to the St. Andrew's Links Clubhouse to figure out where we needed to be in the morning.
Ricky got a St. Andrew's polo from a local golf shop and then we got dinner at Forgan's. We tried haggis for the first time and it wasn't bad. Ricky got Duck Shepard's Pie and I got seabree (seabass) with scallops, snap peas, and roasted potatoes. Now we have to sleep because we are playing the Strathtyrum Course at St. Andrew's Links at 10:00.
