Sun June 16 - 19:30 (London: Shakespeare's Globe)

Ricky and I took the tube over to Blackfriar stop and walked across the Millenium Bridge to get to Shakespeare's Globe.

We went there around 11:30 and managed to buy 2 return tickets for the sold out matinee of The Tempest. I got the sear right in the center front and Ricky's seat was in the section just to the right of mine a few rows back. They were both great seats. We got a "Globe beer" before the show and Ricky also got a pork BBQ sandwich.

The show was absolutely magnificent. I didn't know any of the plot but it was pretty straightforward. The actors were top notch. The show was very entertaining and funny. It definitely re-sparked my interest in Shakespeare. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

We came back and ate at Giraffe where I got a delicious BBQ Thai Duck Stir Fry. We got to room and skyped with everyone was at the club for Father's Day- Mom, Dad, Carroll, Namma, Tappaw, Deb, Mike, and Meg. It was nice to be able to talk with them and see them.
